We keep data collection to the minimum needed to respond to your enquiry and to keep the website working well.

Information you choose to send us

When you use the quote request form, or contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, you may share your name, phone number, email address, project location, service or product required, project type, indicative budget and any details you write in your message.

Technical and usage information

Our hosting provider and analytics service record standard technical information such as the pages visited, the referring page, approximate region, device type and browser. This information is aggregated and anonymous, and is not used to identify you personally.

Correspondence records

Emails, WhatsApp messages and call records relating to your enquiry are retained in our business records so that we can follow up, prepare quotations and meet our contractual and statutory obligations.

03How the enquiry form actually works

This is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual and it is in your favour. The quote request form on this website does not send your details to a database or to any third-party form service.

• When you press submit, the details you typed are placed into a draft email that opens in your own email application or in Gmail in your browser.
• Nothing is sent until you press send in your own email application. You can review, edit or discard the draft at that point.
• The message reaches us as an ordinary email at sdeconstructions2022@gmail.com, and is stored in our email account like any other business correspondence.
• The same applies to the WhatsApp and email enquiry links on our product pages, which prefill a message that you choose whether to send.

In other words, your enquiry details are not stored on this website or on our web servers at all. They live only in your own mail application and, once you send them, in our email inbox.

04How we use your information

We use the information you provide only for legitimate business purposes connected with your enquiry, including to:

• Respond to your enquiry and answer your questions.
• Prepare and share estimates, quotations, drawings, specifications and proposals.
• Arrange site visits, surveys, deliveries and project meetings.
• Perform a contract with you and manage the works, supply or services agreed.
• Maintain accounting, tax, statutory and quality records as required by law.
• Improve the content, structure and performance of this website using aggregated, anonymous statistics.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked to hear from us.

Engineers, site supervisors and office staff working on your enquiry or project.

Our website host and analytics provider (Vercel Inc.), and our email provider (Google LLC, through Gmail). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security standards.

Project partners

Sub-contractors, suppliers, fabricators, transporters and consultants, where sharing your name, site address and requirement is necessary to execute the works you have engaged us for.

Authorities and advisers

Government departments and statutory authorities where required for approvals, licences or liaison work, and our auditors or legal advisers where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers located outside India. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards and contractual commitments offered by those providers.

06Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site profiling. We use Vercel Analytics, which measures page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.

Where a page embeds a Google Maps frame showing our office location, Google may set its own cookies in your browser. That is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours. Full details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

07How long we keep information

• Enquiries that do not result in a project are retained for up to two years in our email records, after which they may be deleted.
• Records relating to an executed project, including contracts, invoices and statutory filings, are retained for at least eight years, or longer where tax, accounting or limitation law requires it.
• Aggregated website statistics contain no personal information and may be retained indefinitely.

08Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Our email accounts are protected by strong passwords and access is limited to authorised personnel. We apply reasonable security practices and procedures proportionate to the nature of the information we hold.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we take your privacy seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us, and any transmission is at your own risk.

09Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• Confirm what personal information about you we hold, and obtain a summary of it.
• Correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
• Delete information that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, where we are not required by law to retain it.

10Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
